There are two ways I can edit your manuscript: I can copyedit or I can proofread. Proofreading takes less time and costs less, but copyediting is more in-depth and helpful. The table below explains the differences:
|Spelling & grammar||X||X|
|Awkward wording and sentence flow||X|
|Inconsistencies and plot holes||X|
|Reading quickly to find obvious errors||X|
How This Works
After you fill out the form, I'll send you an email. You'll send me back a 500-word section of your manuscript. I will give you a sample copyedit and a sample proofreading (of the same section), and I'll tell you which one I think you need. You can decide from there.
Price for copyediting is $1 for every 100 words.
Price for proofreading is $0.50 for every 100 words.
I require 50% of this fee up front.
